How to play Road Trip Rummy.

Object: Find patterns in license plate numbers and get the highest score per round.

1. Patterns are runs (456) and sets (888). Score one point per scoring character in each pattern.
1. Sequential runs must be 3 characters (678) or more.
2. Same-character sets must be 2 characters (00) or more.
3. Characters do not have to be adjacent or in order to be scorable.
4. A character can score more than once if it appears in a set and run(s).
2. Optional rules.
1. One bonus point for a plate with all characters scoring.
2. One bonus point for self-descriptive amount. For example three 3s (333) scores one bonus point for the quantity/character match above the 3 points for the set.
1. By this same logic, a single character one (1) on a plate is also worth one bonus point. Hooray.
2. By the self-descriptive rule (See 2a), zero character zeroes (0) on a plate is worth zero bonus points. Ha, just kidding, take one point.
3. A two character sequential run scores half a point. Used mainly as a tie-breaker.
4. A zero can "wrap" a run linking a 9 with a 1. i.e. (901)
